The unpunched documents or document sleeves are held in place by a strong clamping spring. The clamp binder has a filling height of 20 mm and can therefore hold max. 150 sheets (80 g paper). Also suitable as a menu book, menu folder or certificate, bachelor and doctoral theses.

I discovered that springback binders exist and thought “I could organize my whole life with one of these”. Ignore all the 1-star reviews from people who clearly state in their reviews that they literally just didn't read the description, or who clearly don't understand how springback binders work.It *is* true that putting the paper in “all the way” takes up an enormous portion of the page, but you can easily just either: only insert ~½" of the paper (probably the sanest option); or get longer paper. I'm trying out US Legal (8.5"×14") trimmed down to 13.25" and folded in half to get dual-leaf sheets that fit very closely with the liner cardstock.

This made for a perfect "In Memoriam" / "Book Of Condolances" to send to a late friend's family overseas. It is leatherette and very sturdy, looks and feels well made and high quality. You can easily fit 20-40 pages of A5 inside it. The binding is done with a metal C-section clamp; if you use staples on the pages, then it clamps down past the stapes and prevents the pages from working loose. The clamp/binding is very firm, so you will need at least average hand strength to open it up. The front and back covers are completely blank, black leatherette; I affixed a laminated cover photo/title to the front using Uhu general purpose glue.

What a waste of money!!!! This product is 7" x 9", not the regular 8 1/2" x 11"! I can't even find paper small enough to fit - all I can find is 7 1/2" x 9". I rechecked the posting and could not find a complete size any where; I assumed (my fault) that it would be standard sized.

The product seems to be high quality (which is why i gave 2 stars)... but it doesn't really work.Being A5 in size, it doesn't really do the job. While it clamps the pages securely, the pages do not lie flat if the binder is placed on a table. A5 pages are not very wide - I'm sure the A4 version works much better - so the problem is, the design of the binder requires putting in the pages quite far in, so then they just don't lie flat. Meaning you cannot just open the binder and place it on a table and read, but must physically hold the left and right pages down... and even then they bend a lot near the binding clamp. Trying to put crease marks in the papers is also not effective (since as the pages come out of the place of binding, they rest on a curved area). So all in all, it doesn't do the job. In the end i just got two black binder clips, removed the silver metal parts, and put a black plastic cover front and back, and that works much better!!!

These are very attractive to hold loose papers. The colors are true to illustrations, and they work as described. I will buy more -- I am using them for my thesis, letters, and other memorabilia, seems people use them for holding sheet music, scripts and other such. Company is very nice to deal with - I called them and a human being answered the phone! No queue! No automated BOT! I probably will order more from the actual store to cut out the middle man if you catch my drift.

Great binder for easily putting in cutout recipes for cookbook or in my case cutting out selected pages from an exercise book. Other binders must be disassembled to add pages but this one allows insertion anywhere and sorting pages again is super easy. Why aren't all binders made this way? This one is 7 by 9 inches so a rather odd size. Fairly expensive but I believe only Veloflex makes this type of binder.

I am shocked. See photo next to regular sized notebook.I suppose it's my fault for assuming it was for regular sized typing paper. It's just that I've owned 6 different thesis clamp books over the past 40 years, and have never seen this small size. What do you do with this!?I suggest that the seller emphasize how small it is. Having to pay for shipping both ways, it hardly seems worth returning.Absolutely useless! A complete waste of my $25.
