Laser lines are bright and easily visible even in a well lit room. The various modes of one or two horizontal or vertical lines in different combinations make it useful in a number of situations. This is ideal for around the house type projects - lining up several pictures or shelves in a room or in a long hall where the usual 2'/4' carpenter's level isn't up to the job. The magnetic mount works well on a solid metal surface. I tried it on an exposed light-gauge steel stud and the weight of the device pulled it right off; there wasn't enough steel in the stud for the magnet to hold on to - in that use the best choice would be to screw the included accessory plate to the stud and then attach the magnetic base to the plate. There are a couple of options included that make mounting on a tripod extremely simple. As stated in the description this is best for DIY/homeowner use. Overall construction on this is on the lightweight side of the scale. A small interior remodeler contractor might be able to make use of this for awhile but it likely wouldn't survive long on a real construction site.

Awesome! This has been a great addition to my tool kit. I can set it where a board should go and it holds the level lines for me. Itโs easy to use and so accurate. So much better for a solo person to use than to try and juggle a traditional level while holding a board and trying to hammer a nail. It works well and is well worth the cost. Iโm happy!

This laser level has bright green laser lines. It makes leveling shelves and cabinets a breeze. It comes in a nice carry case and two batteries. Works well with 65 feet range. Perfect for any DIY guy. I got this unit for my husband to use for small home improvements. Iโve seen him use this to line up the outlet covers as well. He no longer has to โeyeballโ things to see if itโs straight. Heโs happy with his new toy, Iโm happy things are more aesthetically pleasing and straight.

We are doing some light reno in our new home, including replacing cabinets. Without this level I'm not sure we could've done half a good a job. This really is the best to I've purchased for the task. The laser line is bright, it stays steady once in place. The tool is easy to use. It seems robust enough to take a few falls without issue. There's a very nice carrying case that it comes with which houses all the accessories. Good tool and tech.

We need a good cross-line laser and decided on this product. Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser Level. It has a range of 65 feet with an accuracy of ยผ inch at 30 feet. It provides very crisp and bright green cross lines thatโs perfect for indoor use. It can also be used outside at dusk or in the shade if needed. It includes a 3.7V Lithium-Ion 1.0 Ah rechargeable battery and charging cable, or can also use 2 AA batteries It also includes a convenient swivel base with magnet thatโs great for attaching to metal studs. This is a perfect laser level for both contractors and DIY Homeowners. Iโm looking forward to many years of use with this self-leveling cross-line laser level.

I have a first generation, simple non auto leveling, single line laser that I used to install chair rail molding and hang pictures etc.. I always though the auto leveling 360 kind were cool so I got this.I am an avid DIYer. I own a lot of tools, mostly top of the line Dewalt, Bosch, Milwaukee etc. I know and can appreciate professional quality tools. I wanted this thing to install molding, lay flooring, ceramic tile, hanging pictures and anywhere else I would need a level line. The first thing that struck me was the very plasticky smell that hits you when you open the nice case. Inside you will find, nestled inside the unit along with batteries, glasses and a host of mounting accessories. The first thing to check are what do the projected laser lines look like. Turn this thing on and the room is immediately painted in 360 degrees with bright laser lines on each wall. Very very cool and useful. The next thing to I checked is does the self leveling feature work. After you turn it on, if the unit is more than 3 degrees off plumb, it will beep and flash and require you to level it, which you can do using the small included platform If it is within 3 degrees of plumb, you are good to go automatically. The laser is nice and bright and the answer is yes, I checked it with two levels and its as close as I can get using a mechanical level. It comes with two rechargeable batteries that are charged using a standard USB brick and USB C cable. The batteries do not lock into place. I accidently picked it up by the battery, the unit slipped off and it hit the floor. It did still work after the drop.As a DIYer, for my purposes and usage this unit is fine. The equivalent Dewalt units are around $300. if I made my living using it I would go for a more established name.
