It does look a little sad in its box, but once you twist, snap and stretch it... it looks very much like the product photos. The birch bark is a taped on pattern and the wire does come from the middle of the tree, but from a modest distance it looks very realistic. The cord is a USB style cord, so if you have a USB outlet available you could save a power outlet.The main reason I'm knocking a star off is the way the remote works. The remote turns it on/off, cycles through a few blink, fade, and solid modes. However, it must be pointed at the USB plug and not the tree... this can be a bit of a nuisance if it is plugged in behind furniture. The tree is also a little slow to respond to button presses as well. So it can be frustrating experience, but if you just have it on a timer or are turning it on once for the season then it's not so bad.

I was trying to match a similar looking one from costco from 2021/2022. This one looks absolutely pathetic compared to the old one. It's lower quality base, cheaper material, branches look like wires instead of twigs. This item is garbage for the price. I would expect to see this in a store for like 30-40$.

I ordered two of these beautiful trees, but neither of them worked. One would only show red lights and the OFF button did not work. The other would change to wonderful colours, but not necessarily the colour shown on the button. There didn't seem to be a warm-white setting, nor could I find any way to light the trees in multi-colours despite the illustration clearly showing the tree lit in all colours at once. There was no operation manual, just an illustrated card which didn't give any useful information. I was disappointed! Hopefully others ordering this tree will have better luck. Maybe the two I got were just duds?

I have bought similar trees in the past with no issue. I bought one this year m, but the remote did not work at all. I ordered a replacement and that remote also did not work. Very frustrating. I am resting from another company, these obviously sat in the warehouse too long and the remotes have died.

I wanted an accent for a corner space, and the tree comes together and looks quite nice. However, I wanted to use mostly white lighting, and there is no white! The closest is a light blue, which looks like a very cool/tinted white, but definitely not what I had expected. The description indicates red, green, blue, and white, but there is no white.
