Dislikes?I dislike how long it took me to finally buy one. This kit is amazing, does perfect flairs every single time. A child can do it effortlessly. If you are doing anything that requires metal tube flairs, save yourself the frustration and poor results and get this kit!The price paid for itself with the ease and perfection of the first use!!!I'd give it 6 stars if I were able. It's just the perfect kit

Definitely very happy with this tool. Using it in a professional capacity. It's probably paid for itself just by making a few GM fuel filter flares. Those always get rusted stuck, and before I had this tool, I'd have to buy a premade piece of line from the parts store for $25 each. Same story with the quick connect flares. For ordinary brake lines, this definitely makes a neater flare, and saves precious time and headache cleaning up and deburring flares made by the ubiquitous basic flaring tool kit. Also protip: to make a hose barb (with any flaring tool) just move the line back into the holder a little bit, less than halfway. Use the bubble flare tool. With a little practice, it makes a nice factory-esque hose barb. Great for transitions from metal line to rubber hose for fuel lines and transmission coolers.

I’ve used the mastercool set and the Eastwood set. This is clearly the best. If you think the cost will somehow be reflected in the quality your going to be surprised.

I've always wanted a quality tool to do flares on the vehicle. I blew a brake line on my 95 Lincoln, and replacement took just over an hour for both rear lines. This tool made the task easy even with limited space available.

It was eazy to use little effort with the handle like the magnet 🧲 that they put in to hold the die in place I would bye it again all day long

This tool worked amazing, as the title states, only had one issue where the set screw somehow came a little loose and the piston started to unthread from the handle, was able to tighten it back down with some vice grips and tightened the set screw and it worked flawless after, saved me about $800 from having to buy a new steering rack and pinion for my jeep

I purchased this fancy flaring tool kit in hopes that it would help me create a good inverted flare with Stainless Steel brake lines that are being installed on my 1967 Chevy Camaro. I like the fact that the hydraulic helps to make the flare with limited strain on the user, since I am handicap. But I must say working with stainless steel is very challenging to get to flare correctly, preparing the chamfer and de-burring is upmost critical or it will not flare the line it will only push the line out. Very frustrating to flare stainless but with a lot of patience and prep being the key, you can achieve a good flare on stainless. I had to double and triple check to make sure 4lifeteimelines stated it can do stainless steel and not just soft metal lines. Tip: Practice before trying to flare what you need.
