Material and finish seem good and robust for exposure as expected up under a roof or protected by an overhang.I'm going to be making a pole supported, open sided wood splitting and wood storage roof these will simplify tying the various structural wood members (including ash and black locust poles from my land) together and hopefully add strength as well.

The bracket are nice, lag bolts are soft metal. I even pre drilled holes in old barn beams still strip hex head and Phillips head too. Bought lag bolts from hardware store and was fine.

Anything made from metal has become extremely expensive over the past three years, so this pack of four brackets is very fairly priced.The brackets are thick and strong... feature a good quality finish with no scratches... and there are no burrs or sharp edges. I am using these to build an outdoor swing structure and am using these on the beams... and they are working great.
