I’d previously replaced the pad with a name brand but found these to be the same high quality at a fraction of the cost. It fit my Dewalt perfectly.

So confused. I installed the first sander in minutes, but when I got to the 2nd one, the holes did not match up with those on the sander! The metal plates match, but the holes to screw back together do not. WTF. So, I got out my drill, lined up the plate I removed, and drilled new holes. Note to manufacturer: 1. Why would you NOT include the 4 screws to replace the place, since most are being replaced due to wear? and, 2. Why wouldn't you have included a double set of drilled holes SINCE the Dewalt Sander is not a "one size fits all" plate? Retrofitting every damn project is exhausting......... Nothing ever fits..... BUT THE SCREWS should be an absolute when replacing worn out pads. So, in the end, its a crap shoot whether the pre-drilled holes will fit your sander! Good Luck!
