Good looking pegs for $8. Inlay looks to be real shell of some sort with a brass ring. Pegs have a small hole for the string pre-drilled. Honestly pretty impressed with these.

Didn't fit properly on my violin. The angle of the key is too flat to lock properly in the key hole. It makes the key holding just by one end. I will have to find something else.

It specifically says "ebony wood" in the description, but "ebony" only refers to the color of the cheap plastic junk they're going to send you.

An absolute rip-off!!! I ordered the first time and only received one peg and one pin. Reorederd and returned hoping it was just a mistake and received the same thing, and had to have Amazon’s assistance. This is not supplied as advertized. Will not recommend.
