Brackets are great and strong but the anchor screws are trash. The heads shear off very easily . Buy separate trusted concrete anchors. Also, brackets are 5 1/2”. Wet treated 6x6 is closer to 5 5/8”. Had to plane off 1/8” from two sides with router and straight bit.

I bought these so that I could add a new gate into my existing fence on concrete. they work very good and hold it very steady.

This company provides the best set of post standoffs. The bolts are a good size 1/4', where as others are very scimpy. Only 1/8". The bolts supplied with these standoffs do not safely secure the posts.

The stands/fittings themselves were great but the anchors for the concrete are subpar. I bought some more stronger ones.

I got these brackets to install with a triangle shaped pergola I was building with 4x4s as posts. They are well made, the metal is thick enough to provide solid support, and they have consistent clean cuts and drill holes that make it easy to line up and use on posts.Where I installed these I don't have a concrete pad, so I used some pre-cast concrete bases set into the ground, with these brackets on top of them. Even with that somewhat more flimsy base these brackets hold the posts very solidly and I am confident that even with the very heavy winds we have around here the pergola should last for years.Overall a good choice and a reasonable price for the quality of these brackets.

Heftier than expected. I don't remember seeing a gage on the steel in the specs but happy they are as nice as they are. Being as I couldn't hold the hold the product in my hand before purchasing it I didn't have high expectations. They are going to work perfect for the. plan that I have in mind.

I use these for our new deck railing. I used 6 x 6 posts. They certainly look nice and are sturdy. The flaw is the sides come up too high to put install the lower railing. I actually had to drill thru the metal to install the railing hanger. Seems to work fine but a small hassle. I think these are best used for tall posts that don’t have a lower railing. But it worked for me with some minor modifications.

I'm installing a simple fence by my driveway and this was used to hold a post on the side of the gate. See pic. Some other posts I installed for this project used different post holders. The others were a bit too large for a standard 4x4 post. However, they also held the post up off the ground about a half inch to help prevent rot. The design of these posts I'm reviewing here lets the post go almost all the way to the ground, resting only on a metal flap. That keeps the post about 1/16th of an inch off the ground, which is fine. I could have held the post up a bit before screwing it in if I really wanted it up more. For the current price of $22.99 for two post holders, it's a good deal compared to the others. It installed without any problems using four standard concrete bolts that I had purchased elsewhere.
