My mower creates a cloud of debris and dust around me. Without the pre filter I had to clean the filter before I finished the yard. Now I do the yard twice before the buildup is noticable.

These are better than the original sl. The original didn't have the extra foam around it. The quality of the paper (filter)and the plastic (body)is as good as the original. And the price was really surprising... I got 4 for less than 1 from Tractor Supply (if they had any)or Cub Cadet I amvery pleased with this purchase. On a side note, these cover a wide range of different devices.

These work exactly the way they are suppose to but the filter around the edge helps even more because it keeps paper cleaner longer.
