Lined up perfectly with the previous screw holes and easily installed. They work as expected and were a good value.

Got these as replacements of original ones that were plastic and crumbling apart. Screw holes were a bit differently spaces so just moved these to new spot and caulked the old holes and a bit on these too for rain proofing. These are should last longer than the camper 🙂

I had to modify this product for my use. But because it was solid metal it came out very nice.

If you are getting these because you want something better than plastic to do the job you may want to reconsider. I have had these on my RV in SE Texas for less than 3 months. Every single one is covered in rust. The springs are too weak and will not close the clip like they should. Overall poor quality. True rust resistant stainless steel is non magnetic. That is not the case with this product. These are at best chromed mild steel. My suggestion is to coat them with a quality corrosion resistant product like Cerakote.

These door catches have 2 holes spaced about 3/4" apart. If you are a stickler for detail, you should check to make sure the catches you are replacing have similar holes and spacing. I am borrowing my son's RV, so I'm not an expert, but I replaced 5 plastic catches with these without having to drill any additional holes. Some of the original catches had 2 holes and some had 3. I don't know if that's typical. The holes on these catches are quite large so I was able to attach them with the provided screws by inserting the screws off center in the large holes. Overall, I think these are a good replacement for the original cheapo plastic ones. I don't know how they'll hold up in the weather, but they look like they are stainless steel so they probably won't rust. Not sure about the springs.
