These are business sized envelopes, but nice enough looking that they could be used for party invitations of that size. The paper is thick enough that even the light colored ones don't show printing through the envelope. I could see the size of what was inside by putting the envelope up against a lightbulb, but it still wasn't possible to tell anything more. Just be aware that for the very dark ones, a separate lighter label will have to be applied for writing the address in pen or marker. Pretty good value for under $5.00 for 50.

I loved the look of these but unfortunately my penpals have been sending me pics of the envelopes completely destroyed, even coming apart at the seams. Buyer beware!

I don’t ever remember seeing colored envelopes in the longer business size but I am happy to have these. Whenever I have a need for letter-size envelope, I’ve had to use white because that’s all I’ve ever found available. I often mail printed letters or invitations and I want festive envelopes that won’t get lost in a sea of ads and bills, which always come in white envelopes. Now my missives stand out.The envelopes are a good weight, too. They are sturdy enough that they aren’t going to easily tear. As a little bonus, to seal, you just pull off the tape and press lightly to close; these do not require moisture. No more licking the flap to seal. Nice.This set includes several colors, including yellow, pale green, blue, lavender and more. You should be able to find the color that matches your document, greeting or announcement. And, of course, they are good for simply remitting a payment.I’ve been looking for these exact features in envelopes but never found them before. Now I’m all set.

Really nice set of colorful business envelopes. I like the range of colors and the paper quality is very good. Not too light-weight or too heavy. A nice quality paper that should do well in protecting anything you mail. The self seal adhesive is good and strong -- no issues with sealing these. Very happy with this set, particularly for the the amount, quality, and price. Well recommended!
