This jar of 50 cal SS balls are just that. The size and weight is good for target practising with a slingshot. I would not call them paintballs, as they are way too solid to be used on an opponent.

These shiny stainless steel balls do, indeed measure within 1/64th of an inch and weigh within 0.2 grams of 8 grams as advertised. I took some out to the back yard with a catapult/slingshot and pinged some cans. I missed every time, which I put down to my poor slingshot skills rather than any defect in the projectiles. I did lose about a third of the shot I fired, I'll have to drag a magnet through the grass to find them. Next time I'll choose a dark and regular surface. Whatever the projectiles hit moved quite a bit, they pack quite a bit of kinetic energy and could do harm.

There is really not much to say, except for purely positive things of course, about this ball-bearing shaped ammo for 50 cal style pew pew projectile fun.These are the absolute perfect size for the Umarex HDR 50 if you happen to have one. They are also full steel, not merely aluminum... so they are heavier, and will definitely pick up speed if fired, so be careful as these are serious business. 5 stars.
