I use these in my full-face respirator when I'm working on dust-generating garage projects, and they work perfectly. The full-face mask may be overkill, but it's what I have, and it keeps the dust out of my eyes. These filters fit into the 6001 cartridge and are classified as N95, so they're doing a top-notch job of preventing even super-fine dust from getting into my lungs. Or you can go spaceman-style in your covid protection protocols, if you're inclined.Very good filters, and great value!

For the same amount of what a fast food meal costs in the city now, you can get 50 (25 pairs) of N95 filters for your dust mask. They fit my 6001 cartridge with no issues.With so many on hand, I am more likely to throw out used ones instead of reuse and reuse until its hard to breathe.

Iโm in the midst of a very large DIY renovation. I go through a lot of dust masks. This by far was a better option with a respirator. Huge cost savings. Was packaged well and star to be fresh.

I like that I won't have to get more filters for a while because there are so many of them in the package. They fit perfectly into my existing respirator, no gaps at all. They are rated as N95 so almost all of the baddies will be caught in the filter. I use them when I'm running my power tools in the shop and they work great.

I know working around my workshop I should use my respirator when cutting wood (esp MDF, pressure treated, etc) as well as dealing with chemicals like acetone, paint thinners, etc.So it was I was HAPPY to have come across the compatible sized filters for my 6200 half face respirator!These are rated N95 - the same as the expensive ones, but now I can feel at ease in replacing old used ones because the price for these 25 pair is what I paid for only 5 pairs of the name brand products. (to be truthful, I love that company from Minnesota!)From everything I can tell from an inhale / exhale test, they're functionally the same. Again, if I was working 8 hours a day in a professional environment, I would just spring for the name brand and pass the cost along.But I don't use my respirator more than 12 hours a MONTH and now I can feel free to replace them more frequently!

First off, these can be used as a prefilter (with 3M part number 501 Filter Retainer Cover for Particulate Filter) on 6000 and 7000 series masks and the related filter cartidges. You can also use them as a dust only filter but that requires the 501 filter retainer cover AND the Filter Adapter (3M part number 603).These are the correct size and shape for use with the above mentioned items either as a pre-filter for a vapor filtration canister or as a particulate filter only with the proper adapters. I use them as particlate filters only as I have severe allergies and need protection during yard work that is both cost effective and efficient and these do the job. They keep the dust and pollen out of my system and I'm not blowing through boxes of disposable masks every couple of weeks.

These are very fluffy copies of the brand name, NIOSH approved 5N11 filters. The quality is good, and there is a measurable electrostatic charge on the filter. However, these are labeled "NIOSH" but are not actually NIOSH approved. So I'd say these are fine for nuisance levels of particulates, but for hazardous levels, get the real thing from the brand name because you don't know how well these really perform and there is literally no reason to trust a filter that claims to be something it isn't.
