Great for a beginner nut it doesn't come with stickers for the bases. Good price. Balsa wood doesn't crackle though. Might buy again just because of the price.

My first time making a home made candle and these wicks worked great. It doesn’t crackle as loudly as my other candles but really like the look and it keeps burning.

Ces mèches ne craquent pas même si c’est inscrit sur l’emballage. De plus, il n’y en a que 50 et non 100 comme spécifié!!!!! Je suis vraiment déçue et étonnée qu’Amazon laisse faire un tel fournisseur.

Purchased these to get some extra use out of some candles that lost the wick too soon. So far these are doing the trick and working as intended. Would like to look into making some candles from scratch as well.

I wish id have read the directions before using but that's on me. You apparently have to use 2 wicks instead of just one or it will not burn & stay lit as they are a bit thin & easily crack or break. Wasnt bad for the price but considering you have to double up on the wicks you are probably better off spending a bit more for a better quality wooden wick.

This is my very first time trying wooden wicks. I’ve read a TON of reviews (not on this specific product, to be clear) on wooden style wicks and it’s not great but I needed to try for myself. I tried this one because the seller posted to use 2 wicks together for soy. Most other sellers didn’t even give that much.I use a coconut/soy mix. I doubled the wick and it took a little while before it would stay lit. The shorter the wick, the better, for me. Try it and test it before you sell any! I believe with my wax blend, I could get away with one. The flame was rather “large” but CraCkLe CraCkLe, lol. The thickness seems good to me compared to others. It’s burned great. I’m happy and I will try one wick. Hopefully they restock soon because I much rather prefer the wooden wick vs cotton.Update:I’ve been using these for a few months now and switched over to Apricot Coconut Crème by Virginia Candle Co, I’ve also switched to one wick vs two, added candle dye (very light amounts) and mica…We’re still going strong! I’ve had no issues and they look so nice in my candles. They crackle crackle crackle and easily stack up to the competition.
