Great tactical pants! 5.11 makes an amazing product. I tried a cheaper brand as well and I am returning them...

Excellent I love 5.11 I had the stryke pants and tried a few styles of 5.11 and so far 5.11 Stryke pant and Icon pant is the best upgrade. I first used the icon in duty for the first time Saturday and Sunday they are phenomenal.. I don’t want to speak too soon though but they are very athletic fit. Most duty pants are regular fit but my body structure is athletic I will definitely get another pair sometime. I go by the concept “you get what you pay for” it’s why for duty get I don’t go cheap most cheaper tactical pants are just to me 2 star rating.. For me I leave a real and honest review no BS false review.. Hopefully these pants last a while for the price…

No era de la misma calidad en material al que compré en la tienda física. Aunque era el mismo modelo, los acabados eran de menor calidad. Desde ahora voy a la tienda y examinó lo que compro.

Perfect blend of functionality and fit.- Has 8 pockets, with 4 that velcro closed for secure storage.- wide belt loops that can hold weight and dont rip easily- just enough stretch in the right spots- not baggy like most cargo pants

I own many 5.11 TacLite Pro pants and Stryke pants for years and just got this Icon pants. It feels it has the most thinnest material compared to my TacLite Pro and Stryke pants. I prefer this thin material because it gets pretty hot weather during other season on where I am right now. This Icon pants is almost identical to 5.11 Stryke pants when it comes to pockets and patterns, it's just the fitting on Icon pants is much tapered and feels like you were wearing jeans. If you like this type of fitting then Icon pants is for you. I purchased few of this Icon pants when it was on sale and now still getting used to it. So far it was good but not great because I wear big mid boots shoes and the tapered end of the pants looks weird with my shoes. For me I still prefer the Stryke Pants over this Icon pants probably because the way it looks with my mid boots. if you wear low cut boots or sneakers, this pants will look good I guess. The flexibility on this pants is really great which I like the most. I wish 5.11 make other fitting style of this pants like Relaxed fit or Classic fit or "True Straight Fit" because this was labeled Straight Fit but it is NOT! it is more like "Slim Fit" or "Athletic Fit" to me.I give this pants 4-Stars - I removed one star because the Fitting style label is not true. 5.11 Should have labeled this as Athletic Fit or Slim-Fit pants. Other than that, the quality is great. Fitting on the waist line and length is True to size.My past purchases of TacLite Pro and Stryke pants from 5.11 were labeled Made in Vietnam and Cambodia. This Icon Pants that I got were Made in BangladeshOverall I am happy with my purchase.Note: The Image on this product is pretty accurate, looks and fits the same when I wear them. You can see on the picture that it is tapered and looks like slim-fit/athletic-fit.

The PD I work for requires the class B pants to be of the 5.11 brand… i personally believe 5.11s aren’t worth the price tag they have…These pants look great for about three washes. Then they seem to begin to discolor and hold an almost dirty look to them. . . Another officer dry cleans all of his, and same issue…If your department does not require this brand, check out proper brand or LA police gear… you will get pants that look the same for half the price (and they honestly hold up better). But if required to wear 5.11, I suggest the icons over the Stryker pant. The icon and Stryker are nearly identical in design but the icon is a straight leg pant and looks more professional. If you like a wide leg, baggy fit, the Stryker is the one you want. . . I have been told numerous times that the icon looks more professional from people who don’t know they are different pants but can tell there is something different in the fit.
