I got these because it was a good deal and to see how they work.First, they all came with oil on them...so you will need to sit and wipe them down before using. Then try be careful when using veg tanned leather, because the oil will soak in the first few times.2nd, they call came in a clear plastic box...my came cracked but it doesn't matter as I was planning on not using it. it is nice and kept all the punches in place but is hard to remove each one to use...especially when you can't really see one inside another.I tested some out...these are great for both mallet and arbor press. I punches a few with thick leather and it works fine. They are not perfect and some edges do not meet completely so you will have to trim them.Also some came with rust, so be aware of that.For the price, I can't complain. They do their job and I am happy with them overall.
