I've used similar products from many different manufacturers including the comparatively priced Moroso, and one from CSR that's over three times the price of this one. I decided to give this one a try based on price and Amazon Prime availability. The neck on this is so low that the cap almost touches the hose, which makes installing and removing the cap a little more difficult than others. It also has some flow restriction where the base of the neck protrudes into the tube. The threaded overflow port is a useful feature that allows the outlet to be oriented in any direction, but the need source an additional fitting is inconvenient and offsets the low cost. The one I received is raw cast or sand blast finished, it is not semi-polished like the one pictured. It also has rough grinding marks where casting lines were removed on the top, yet the casting lines on the bottom remain untouched. I'm giving this three stars because it does work, but the Moroso and even the cheap no-name Chinese ones I've used are better quality for essentially the same cost, and they are functionally superior.

This allowed me to have a fill point at the highest point in the cooling system in my truck. I always had air trapped in the past. Fit was perfect for 1.5" hoses.

I used this in my 1949 Chevy pickup that I mounted on a 1999 Dodge Durango chassis. There is no preformed hose to fit this custom application and the radiator had to be mounted lower than the engine, so this was installed above the engine to fill the cooling system. Worked great! Uses a standard full size radiator cap.

Good quality at a great price. Excellent replacement for cracked plastic housings in a lot of newer cars. No issues with it so far.But, it would have been nice if they included a fitting or two that would cover the standard overflow hose sizes.
