I own several mirrorless digital cameras. I have been taking photographs for a long while, going back to film. I have an S24+ which has a great camera that I use all the time. I didn't buy this so much for the neutral density filter, which I will get to later. I bought it so that I can use a 52mm polarizer on my phone. A polarizer is the one filter that is not that easy to reproduce in post editing. With this clip I can mount the polarizer on y phone and take nice landscapes. I can also mount close up lenses as well. The neutral density filter is good quality, some ND filters get weird as you increase the density, not this one. It has a 5 stop range, which might not be enough to blur water on a sunny day, I usually use a 10 stop filter for that. The clip itself is well made plastic with metal thread insert for the filter. All in all I am very pleased with it. I haven't tried a closeup lens yet, it may not center the lens correctly but when I do I will update.

This variable ND filter has been perfect for our outdoor shoots using a smartphone. The adjustable range from ND2 to ND32 (1–5 stops) gives us great control over exposure in bright conditions, which has really stepped up the quality of our video and photo content. What really surprised us is how well it works even with bulky phone cases—no need to remove the case just to clip it on, which saves time and hassle. The build feels solid, and the ultra-slim design doesn't add too much weight or bulk when attached. If you're doing any kind of mobile filmmaking or photography, especially outside, this is a must-have accessory. Great value, excellent performance, and super convenient.

The filter feels and looks solid enough but if you don't have perfect lighting, the difference is minimal. I'm not a professional but I have been around enough camera equipment to know this is on the lower end of glass quality that can be used. It is unfortunate because it's really well made. If you are in constantly perfect or near perfect lighting and need a portable ND filter for your phone, this is a solid choice. If you are not in perfect lighting constantly, this is probably a pass.

Good basic Variable ND FilterIt comes in a sturdy carrying case, with a variable ND Filter from 1 to 5 stops, a plastic clip with threading for the filter, a lens cap, a cleaning cloth, and tiny print instructions.I tested this on my iPhone 14 Pro with and without my thin case. The case's lip around the lenses was just wide enough to make placement a bit challenging. It fit much better when I removed the case. My concern is I'd be reluctant to do any outdoor photography without the case. Given that the most common use case would be shooting in the sun, I have a concern about that. Another concern is the plastic nature of the clip. Although it seems sturdy enough, I'm concerned about eventual breakage. Consider though that the VND is separate so one could replace the clip without having to replace the filter. The clip spring is very tight and there is rubber where it meets the screen. As a result, it held very securely even as I rotated the filter. The filter rotated well without slippage. The hard stops at either end avoided the "X" effect and, when the filter was carefully placed over the lenses, I saw no discernable vignetting.Overall it's a good value VND with only some concern for the plastic clip.

This Boysinglens clip-on polarizing lens filter comes in a nice padded case (see my photo), complete with instructions and a lens cleaning cloth.I own an iPhone 13 Pro, which I keep in a protective case. Some clip-on lenses and filters won't clip over my iPhone's protective case. I must remove the iPhone from its case before attaching the clip-on. But happily, this Boysinglens lens filter clip-in is wide enough so that it easily fits over both the iPhone and its protective case. The clip-on's grip is also padded (see my photo), so that it won't scratch either your cell phone's screen or the lens filter. The lens filter also comes with a protective cap.The lens filter can be rotated on its ring, changing its polarization from low to high.I took three photos at each of two different locations (one outdoors, one indoors). First without the lens filter. Second photos with the lens filter set at low. Third photos with the lens filter set at high. You can see the results, and judge for yourself whether this is something you want.

I had no problems fitting the clip on lens kit on my phone even with the bulky case. It’s made of glass and feels pretty hefty. Ty r clip seems sturdy but it looks pretty basic and the clip exerts a lot of clipping force. I was first hesitant coz it will press on my screen but after trying it on a cheaper older phone of mine, it seemed fine. The only thing I could criticize is that the clip is pretty much plastic and there’s no buffer between your screen and the plastic end from pressing on your screen. I think adding at least a coating iof silicone would be nice. But suffice to say the clip not damage my phone at all. I probably won’t recommend this if you phone is foldable coz those the screen on those is easy to scratch. As far as performance, the ND filter is great! It works as advertised. It was able to change the light dynamics of my pics. Although I have only tried it at home for now coz I won’t be going on trips until summer, but I am sure this would help me take better pics especially if it’s too bright outside… judging from the pics I took at home. Overall it’s a nice kit. The clip on lens has an outer lens protector and that the lens is made of glass. The clip is also pretty sturdy. It also came with a case to keep it safe and dust-free. To use this you just have to dial the ring on the lens clock wise or counter-clock wise. On the darkest setting your iPhone will automatically go on night mode. So maybe play with your settings to get your desired results. I used this lens kit on an iPhone 15 pro Max , a Samsung a71, a pixel 4xl, and my trusty old LG G8. I used them in pro mode (when available) so I did not have to deal with the night shot feature.
