I'm a huge fan of saruSURF, I have several of their fins. This is the only time that I've been let down to date. I purchased this fin because The listing said it was a "soft flex" river fin, However upon receiving the product, That is not the case. There is little to no flex at all in the fin , and it is a very hard and sturdy fin Unlike the photo in the listing shows. Still good quality and decent for touring or racing (alhough it does have a lot of area) But not so good for shallow rivers As if you try to flex the fin, it will break. Disappointed but gave 3 stars because it is a quality, well-made fin and it tracks well. Good for flat water or downriver SUP when it isn't too shallow or too strong of current.
