Here are some key points to summarize my experience after buy and installing this Headlamp Switch Controller:- I purchased a **Headlight Switch Controller** to activate the fog lights I added to my "non-Fog Lights" 2006 Ram 1500.- There were concerns from online articles saying that vehicles without factory-installed fog lights might require reprogramming the onboard computer to enable the fog lamps function through the Headlight Controller.- Fortunately, after connecting the new headlights controller and pushing in on the rotary knob, the fog lights turned ON without the need for reprogramming.- I also observed the **Lights ON Icon** on my dashboard indicating when the fog lights are activated.- Overall, the installation worked out great, and I was able to use my fog lights without any issues and all looks OEM original.

I was installing fog lights to a truck that did not come with them. This was among multiple items purchased to make a great update to my truck. Fit perfectly. Easy install. Only took a screw driver and 5 minutes. My daughter swears it is a slightly thicker switch. I think she is just resistant to change. I love it.
