Had the heads off my hemi to replace the cam/lifters and originally used Fel-Pro SS72929 valve stem seals. A few thousand miles after everything was back together, I noticed high oil consumption and blue smoke out the tailpipe on cold starts. Pulled the valve covers and saw 9 of the 16 Fel-Pro stem seals had popped off their bosses. Reading the forums, turns out this is a common issue with that brand/model stem seal.To replace the Fel-Pros I used Comp Cams 531-16 stem seals, supposedly Mopar stem seals are also correctly dimensioned, but they are much more expensive than the comp cam seals.I was able to use this valve spring compressor to go in and replace all 16 valve stem seals with the heads still on the engine in the 2013 Grand Cherokee WK2 engine bay. The only tricky spot was on the passenger side exhaust seals, I had to use a bolt that was about 1/2" shorter than the provided main screw because the provided screw was too long to release the spring when the keepers were removed.No issues at all with the tool, I did lubricate the threads of the pusher screw with some assembly lube while using it.

Good quality tool. So easy to use. I was using this tool for the 5.7 gen 3 hemi and made it a breeze doing the valve springs versus the sketchy autozone one I regret ever trying. This fit just fine, so not sure what everyone else was saying with how it appeared to fit or not fit, but it was perfect for this job. Did all springs in about an hour, maybe less.

i just want to let you know your valve spring Roosain for 5.7l assembly wrong so the flat surface has to be up. to make it work.

Works great was assembled upside down or was assembled for a different motor other then that works great. Would have been nice if it came with a case for the price

I was skeptical at first but had no choice since I was in a pinch to get it done before the weekend. The billet style tools were 250 and took a week to get here so I chose this as last resort due to price. Low and behold this thing works with as good quality as comp or Mopar performance online. Did these springs in half an hour. It slides side to side to make sure you have room to compress center of the retainer. I lubed the threads with some grease as well as the ball bearing tip. The arm came bolted upside down, but I removed the tapered bolt and flipped the arm to correct position. The rocker bolts were correct length. Tool worked perfectly and now I don't gotta send hemi heads to machine shop anymore. Btw this works for 5.7, 6.1,6.4. I did the 6.4 here. Both intake and exhaust came out great.
