The 20oz sticks are a perfect fit for me. The sticks were very well balanced. These are great for the family den, pool room, or a beginner.

I honestly did not expect much, so I wasn't terribly disappointed. They are rather crude. The paint on the heavy end is kind of rough in a few places, and there is no finish on the narrow end for the last several inches. Also, the tips need to be shaped. Of the four I received, one had a noticeable curve. I think I will attempt to straighten it. We ordered these to be used by kids and drunk guests, and they were inexpensive, so I can't complain too much about the quality, right??

6/14/23 UPDATE: In my original review I said the cue was light. It's very light. I put it on a scale and it's just under 9oz. So the cue is not 16oz as the description implies. It's about 16oz total for BOTH cues. So you may want to add weight. I did by adding 5/16 washers at the joint and bumper at the butt. I have 9 at the bumper and 3 at the joint giving a new weight of 10.3 oz. You can do the same and adjust the balance and weight as you like. I had to replace the bumper screw with a longer one. After using this cue a bit, I still like it, especially at this price point for 2. You definitely need to shape the tip to your liking and bought it up to take chalk better. I've been able to stirike the cue ball at various angles and achieve the spin I desire. There are a few spots around my table that are too tight for a full 58" cue or even the 48" shorty that I have. so a 42" is what I was looking for. Surprisingly hard to find. This cue is a little light and not completely straight, but it's serviceable for the occasion where I need a short cue. But at $25 for 2 42" cues, it's hard to beat. A more well balanced, straighter cue would cost close to double or more with shipping. I'm happy with this 42" cue.

Very impressed with the quality of these two piece cues. Can even use them when my regular cue bumps into wall in basement as a short stick. Thanks
