Ordered a pull start assembly for my lawnmower. I took the product or serial number and ordered it from Amazon . It was easy to install and fits perfect. My lawnmower works ,Now I will see how long it will last.

Perfect drop-in fit for my Toro 22 inch recycler smartstow mower. Started right up.Pull rope appears thinner than the original pull so durability might be a future issue but for now all seems fine. Should note that the pull rope on the Toro has already broken several times and having sturdy replacement rope on hand is advisable for these mowers.

I liked this part was an exact fit and was simple to replace. Once installed I tested it several times and it started on the first pull every time. Quality seems good but time will tell. I’ll update if I have any issues in the future.

Install was a breeze, very easy! Though it has only been a few days, I have started my mower 3-4 times. No binding of the pull rope and functions flawlessly.My original part on my mower lasted 9 years, if I can get 2 to 3 years out of this part, I’ll be very happy.Drilling down a bit deeper, it was very cost effective and seems to be well made.Like I stated in the title, so far, great!

Dimensionally the product fit fine, after getting everything bolted down gave the pull start a slow pull and no retraction. Pull the spring clip and remove the recoil starter and whoever assembled this broke the tab off that the spring engages with. Was able to jury rig it to work but definitely not worth the effort. Save your money.

Product was delivered quickly. Exact fit for my 2015 725 EX Platinum Craftsman mower.Appears to be exactly manufactured just like the Briggs & Stratton original which was probably outsourced to a Chinese firm to start with.I think the product meets or exceeds the original component.Easy installation ,no instructions were provided but easy peasy.I will update my rating if & when I have a problem. Right now all is good with the product.
