I bought these for an RF meter project. They were just what I was looking for. My only complaint would be the solder connection is very delicate and fragile in my opinion. I used a rather ridgid piece of wire fastened to another contact point, so it didn't seem to be a problem of having it break off.

All 5 had different (though close) ratings than the 50Ω advertised. Some were 48.x, 49.x, etc. Of the 5, 2 pairs looked like they were from the same manufacturer (meaning 2 different manufacturers) and the last one was a completely different brand. I'm not sure if these were pulled from something. Also, 2 of the 5 had missing "tabs".

On the one hand, I did receive five flanged resistors and they all measured 50 +/- 0.5 ohms. But they are mismatched brands and have solder on the tabs. One tab is very short, I don’t know is I’ll be able to solder to it. These resistors are clearly pull-offs from used equipment but this isn’t noted in the description.

It's just what the doctor ordered. Find a suitable heat-sink (400 Watt dissipation) mount two in series and another two (series) in parallel to the other pair. Should be 50 Ohm at 400 Watt total. The connection, ergo length of wire must be exact same and possibly low inductive wire.You'll get a low cost 50 Ohm 400 Watt Dummy Load.The fifth one as a single 100 Watt dummy load. That's the plan anyway.Did I mention, the packaging is excellent.

I needed a small dummy load that I could park on my desk, four of theses resistors make a good 200 Watt load that with a small heat sink can be put on the desk

I used one of these to make a dummy load for my radio. It works just fine and the price was right! I could upgrade it to a higher wattage with my leftover ones as well!
