I got these since I just recently bought a lathe and I wasn't sure what tooling I really needed. This gives you a cost effective selection of Left Hand and Right Hand turning tools. The carbide has held up so far but I haven't pushed them too hard either. Pleased with this set.

The tools are fine, the box is very nice and I like that they included spare insert screws. It would have been nice to include extra inserts as well, but for the price this seems outstanding.
