There are so many uses for the 5 sturdy, acrylic, equally segmented circle templates. The sizes are accurate as described, 2.5", 3.5", 4.5", 5.5", 6.6" and about 1/16" thick. There are black painted markings on the front and can be turned over to use the white markings on the back. This is helpful if you're using light or dark fabric or paper underneath to see the markings better. If you're a quilter, the 1/4" seam allowance is already there so if you need a 2", 3",4",5",6" circle all you have to do is trace it onto the back of your fabric. You can also be assured how and if your circle will fit onto charm pack and layer cake precuts or your paper art. Each template has centering lines and can be used for fussy cutting fabric or paper designs and positioning while drawing. Inside each template are also three other sizes of partial circles that can be rotated, using the center lines for alignment to complete layered interior circles. This is helpful for sizing and placement for penny wool, applique placement, flower designs, mandalas. The segmented edge markings are useful for making quilting templates, segmenting mandalas and dot painting, flower designs, drawing hexagon's, octagons, drunkard's path blocks, stars, scallops, rounding off corners, accurate wave designs of different depths. There are many possibilities with these templates to help you draw quickly and easily. You could use them with a rotary cutter but the outer edges will probably last longer if just used them for tracing.
