Bought several of these to fly three flags from the trailer hitch of my truck. Have been very please with this product so far for several reasons.Ease of Assembly– This product takes only a few minutes to get fully setup and ready to fly your flags.Tangle Resistance– The carabiners work very well in keeping flags from tangling too much, even with three side by side flying at high speeds.Build Quality– Not great, but good enough for flying on a building. I was a little sketched out initially driving with these behind my truck, but with a little bit of 550 paracord I rigged up some support to keep the tops from bending at all and now confidently drive with my flags up to 80 miles per hour (130 kmh for you EuroTrash out there).Overall, a great product for anyone trying to fly flags from a building. Good product for vehicle flag mounting as well, just be wary about providing support.

Have had two of these products and they were great for what I needed. One of the grommet hooks broke on the first one when we forgot to take it down in 60mph winds. I wouldn’t blame the flag pole at all. Definitely recommend for the price.

I bought 2 of these to be used to mount on my Jeep. It clearly said in description it can be used on truck and it’s heavy duty. It may be heavy duty for using on house but definitely not to be used on a vehicle. I put a 3x5 flag on it drove 60mph and it BENT. Metal isn’t heavy duty for truck use but would be more ideal for mounting on a house. Size was good and idea of how the individual poles screw together was great but just not to be used on vehicle. The flag couplers worked great with no tangle of the flag.

The best flag pole I have ever purchased. Breaks down into three pieces for easy transport and storage. Extremely easy to attach and adjust flag. This flag pole is built like a tank. I have purchased five so far.

This is not a "tangle free" flag pole! Bought two and they stay tangled and don't untangle. I kept taking them down thinking I must be doing something wrong through the return period as I had only looked at the 5 star ratings. Today I gave up and went back to read the 1 and 2 star ratings. They all have the same problem. Tomorrow I will put the two old white ones that had been up for years, still working fine but replaced only because I decided that I wanted black. I will simply throw this cheap crap away and write off the $40 I spent. I don't know how they ever got 5 stars. Do yourself a favor and read the 1 and 2 star reviews before you buy and maybe decide to spend a little more for better quality.

I bought this because of the 7' length which was just longer enough than my previous pole to keep the flag from constantly sitting in the gutter. So far so good on that account. I was worried that I wouldn't like the black, but after putting it up I think it adds a nice contrast. I had to drill a hole in the top to attach the solar light. It took some finagling, but it actually worked out better than the Rube Goldberg attachment I had on the old pole. The only "con" is that it's not quite as heavy duty as I would like so I might have to bring it in for really gusty winds (or the occasional FL hurricane). Anybody who thinks they can use it on a vehicle is deluding themselves.

Can't handle a bit wind!The flag gets wrapped around the pole if there is more than a gentle breeze!I will try it in a more sheltered spot but I am not impressed, it's not something you buy to hide around the corner you buy it to go in a prominent position.
