I was surprised by how strong this vice is. I used it to bend some wheelbarrow legs back straight again and the vice held strong. Good product for reasonable price.

The Aroedvise 4” Bench Vise is exactly the vise that I was looking for and it does everything that I need it to do.Its beefy, high quality construction ensures that it is able to hang on to whatever I am working on. Its jaws are well-aligned, and they open and close smoothly and precisely. The vise came with the bolts that I needed to attach it to my workbench.No complaints — I am quite satisfied with this bench vise and recommend it without hesitation.

Fatal Design Flaw – 8 inch Jaw Bench Vise NOT FOR HOLDING ROUND STOCKThis is a very well made 8” Jaw Bench Vise. I could find no manufacturing flaws so the manufacturer must have high Quality Control inspection standards along the assembly line. The screw smoothly moved the jaws open and closed. The jaws did not wobble and fit together very well. However, this vise has a serious design flaw. The vise is falsely advertised as having a “Pipe Jaw” quoting verbatim, “Pipe jaw: φ0.25"-3". With further false advertising quoting verbatim, “VERSATILE & MULTI-FUNCTIONAL: AROEDVISE bench vise is designed with a multi-jaw function, capable of clamping both flat and rounded materials without causing surface damage.” There are two major problems with that quoted statement:1) There is NO “Pipe Jaw”. Under the Flat Jaws, there are some protrusions that somebody who has never used a real “Pipe Jaw”, mistakenly thinks are for clamping round stock. A real “Pipe Jaw” like you find on a real Pipe Wrench, or added to a cast iron Bench Vise, has hardened sharply machined and shaped jaw teeth that will hold round stock albeit with mandatory deformation of the round stock. Please see the attached photograph of the added hardened and machined Pipe Jaws of a Bench Vice that can actually securely hold round stock. I know that one of the misleading website photographs shows the UN-machined cast shaped parts, under the square jaws of the vice, seemingly holding round stock. However, if you have ever performed any serious work on round stock you know that those shaped parts WILL NOT securely clamp round stock.2) Only somebody who has never used a Bench Vise would make the ridiculous claim quoting verbatim, “capable of clamping both flat and rounded materials without causing surface damage”. Of course, the square hardened and machined serrated vise jaws do cause damage to the clamped stock items. If you need to protect the stock from clamping damage, there are all sorts of vise jaw attachments that will not damage the stock that you can buy from all over Amazon.
