This pad does exactly what you want it to—sticks well, holds up under pressure, and doesn’t decide to launch your sanding discs across the shop. The PSA backing grabs onto discs like it owes them money, and even after extended use, I haven’t had any issues with peeling or slipping. The polyurethane construction feels sturdy, and the steel reinforcement around the mounting bolt gives me confidence that I won’t be replacing this any time soon.Installation is a breeze—screw it on, tighten it up, and you’re good to go. I’ve used it for auto body work and wood sanding, and it performs well across the board. Probably not what I’d reach for when doing final finishing, but for the heavier work, it’s solid. If you’re running a DA sander and need a reliable pad, this is a great option.

I could've sworn it said hook and loop, looks like I was wrong, though. I read back through it and din't see anything mentioning hook and loop. Maybe it's for the best as I have some stick-on sanding discs that I previously had no use for. Because this pad definitely fits my DA. So yay. Feels like good quality too.

Works perfect, just the ticket for my DA sander. My DA sander wheel was getting pretty frayed around the edges and the hook N loop was not hold as well as I needed. These wheels are a perfect replacement for my worn out wheels. A real five star winner.

Overall, looks like good quality should last quite a while. I have no problems with suggesting and recommending these not much more to say. I would probably consider these medium or slightly higher density not overly soft perfect for finishing out panels and fairly level and flat surfaces. These that’s what I will use them for.

The hook & loop of the backing pad held the sandpaper to the pad with no problems. The sandpaper did not fly off or otherwise come loose from the backing pad while being used. The backing pad also threaded onto the sander very well. None of the threads were messed up thanks to a protective cap being added to the threads before shipping. The polyurethane foam backing pad seems pretty durable to me. This backing pad is also steel reinforced around the mounting bolt which I really liked because I have seen other pads that only had a thick piece of plastic around the mounting bolt which probably would fail over time. This backing pad is good quality.

These worked with my harbor freight dual action sander no issues. It's nice to have a choice bof hook and loop or stick on. This gives you more of a variety of pads. Seems a lot I see nowadays are hook and loop or if you mis order your covered if you have options. Now because of these pads I do!I don't see a down side to these. They seem good quality the hook and loop is fine this far. I guess time will tell so 4 stars till I use this more then I'll update.

My last backing plate’s Velcro backing failed and ripped off with my pad. Picked this one to replace it and have no complaints.Velcro backing is good quality. Has a rubber cap over the threads so they won’t get damaged shipping or in storage. It even has the fiber washer in case you lose yours.
