Trailer lights on a boat trailer...water and electricity? It's all black magic. I needed new lights on my shorelandr' trailer and these seemed to fit the bill. I really didn't need the wiring harness but the rectangular lights fit perfectly on the trailer using the existing harness. They are supposed to be waterproof but out of habit, I still unplug the lights when I back the trailer into the water.

These are brighter than expected. Good for a trailer or RV. I thought of putting them on a truck, but since they are submersible, I decided to save the truck for later. The included wiring kit makes these a bargain.One thing I would change is the inability to turn off the white license plate light. Only one assembly has it, the right side light. If these weren't waterproof, I'd open it up and disconnect the light. Trailer plates aren't needed here. It would not have been difficult to include a separate wire for the plate light. I'm not going to dock a star for that; it's in the literature, and I should have noticed.

I would say the quality is good, but I had to install the driver side upside down to match the bolt holes.

Hardware is not stainless steel and will rust in salt water. The brake light is very dull and hard to see when the tail light is already on. Not nearly as bright as my factory trailer lights. The hardware is also not adjustable so the light did not fit my trailer properly.
