This is a great product and I like the size of the globe, its sturdy and well balanced.Its a heavy globe so one of the bulbs was broken into pieces during shipping, seller offered to replace it for me.Very quick response from the seller, hopefully they work on doing something to protect bulbs during shipping.Great experience with the seller and wonderful product for the price, I am thinking about buying another one for family soon.

This lamp is absolutely beautiful! It's sturdy, well made, and the perfect home accent. It was well packed and came with a cord and 2 light bulbs. I've bought 2 of these lamps so far and I'm very satisfied with my purchases.

This lamp looks very cool. It looks like a plant when you turn it on in a dark room. One of my friend suggest this salt lamp because my kids have allergy issues so after I bought this lamp, I saw a good big difference.It can be used as a decoration and also can benefit your health. I suggest this is a very good product and its very cheap. One of the features I really like about this lamp is its dimmer switch and it allows you to adjust the brightness levels. I liked it more than I expected too.

I have a few of these globe and this one is almost transparent vs having more color when turned off. Not sure if I’ll keep it. Photos on the website don’t represent accurately the item being sold

This lamp is really pretty, I like it more than I expected too. That being said, it isn’t exactly what I saw in the listing and could have been better.The block of salt that was used is solid and has great color variation to it. When I took it out of the box I didn’t think the brightness adjustment would be of much use but it is a great addition. We put this lamp on a timer and use it as an entry light, being able to adjust how bright it is allowed us to dial in how much light we wanted in that area.The base on this thing is not what I expected. There are several images in the product listing (and in the advertising insert that came with it) and all but one of them show a wide based, the last one shows a narrow base with faux gold filigree. That narrow base is actually the base installed on this lamp. While the lamp is stable on the base (before I put in the lightbulb) it looks too small. The other issue with the base is that it has several ‘notches’ cut out of it, one of which was sort of enlarged to allow the cord to fit under. That notch on the lamp I got wasn’t deep enough to let the cord fit through, the lamp ended up sitting on the cord which allowed it to rock around. I was able to use a sanding bit to enlarge the notch so now mine is stable.

Agree with previous complaints about poor packaging -- the lamp arrived with a broken rim on the light socket. Although pretty when illuminated, when turned off the globe looks distressingly like a particularly unattractive grapefruit, which is not my decor of choice. Not worth the price; will be returning.

Arrived with one of the glass bulbs completely shattered, tearing the bag, and leaving glass all over the product and in the box. Not going to return it because it’s not worth the hassle and it still works, but there is glass everywhere and it was improperly packaged. If you’re going to send tiny delicate glass bulbs, you should consider packaging them better. I wish I could get a partial return because I’m not shipping the whole thing back. The product looks OK, but it is poorly put together. Some of the screws aren’t even fully screwed in… If you’re willing to clean up glass, go ahead and buy this product, but I would suggest looking somewhere else for a salt lamp.

This is a lovely little lamp! It really brings a warmth and comfortable feeling to my office.I take away 1 star due to the bottom seal plastic of the bulb insert arriving broken in many pieces (but it still inserts and holds the bulb, so I didn’t bother to ask to return), and the included 15w bulbs create a glow that is dimmer than what one would expect, so I might have to buy higher watt ones myself. However, this globe shape is just fabulous, and definitely adds beauty to the atmosphere.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. This is a really impressive lamp, and very heavy. It’s a solid ball of Himalayan salt (and my big black lab started licking it as I was assembling it) and the lamp unit that goes inside the small shaft drilled in the ball has UL certification, which is a pleasant surprise. As a guy who used to investigate dangerous and unsafe electrical devices, safety certification is critical if you don’t want to burn your house down.I fired it up and it looks great! The cord also has a control wheel that adjusts the brightness, and it comes with an extra bulb, which is nice.My only complaint, which is not totally the fault of the manufacturer of the unit, is the packaging. It comes in a very thin cardboard box, with an equally thin bubble wrap, and with mine, the box had torn open, and the globe had obviously banged against something hard on the trip to my door (the factory, the warehouse, the delivery guy, who knows?) and a large circular area of the globe had turned white, with an obvious impact point in the middle. I strongly advise anyone buying this as a gift, to open it immediately and make sure yours isn’t damaged, so you have time to return it and buy another.That one issue aside, this is a very cool lamp. *RECOMMENDED*
