It’s a small tub of food grade grease. Pretty hard to screw up. Gaskets didn’t fit my model, but I knew that. No complaints and will likely order again in the future.

This is good product for Kitchen Aid Classic Mixer. The 6 oz filled as promised and recommend to get this to have enough for all the components in the mixer. All works well after replacing grease. The gasket does work for the mixer. I followed a YouTube video to do this independently. It took me 3 hours to do start to finish. Recommend having gloves and to use a popsicle stick/long skewer stick to get old grease out and paper towels. Also small containers to put screws in. Hardest was putting the gears back together- it’s light pressure and wiggling carefully to get lined up! Be patient!

I followed a three part YouTube video to regrease my KitchenAid mixer. I bought this grease bc I didn't want to wait several days to order the recommended grease from other website and this had good reviews.I will say that this grease did seem a bit different from the grease used from the factory. Maybe this is more silicone based?? It also seemed a bit more translucent , lighter , and more "waxy looking" than what was used in the tutorial.Application was easy, but once I got everything put back together, I was very worried I had done something wrong. My machine was quite noisy and almost had a bit of a metal on metal sound. When I took it back apart again all of the grease had gotten shoved right back out of all the gears.I went ahead and used the last 1/4 of the grease that was left in the container and recoated the gears. Again, it made noise and sounded a little rough. I got frustrated and went to bed. The next morning, my husband ran it a few minutes and voila! It worked perfectly, was much quieter, and ran much smoother.Not sure why, but letting it sit a while and then running it a few minutes seemed to make all the difference. It's been a month and so far, so good!

The Ohoho food grade grease is great to use for re-greasing a stand mixer. Most greases of this type come in 4oz containers where this is 6oz. I've found the 4oz is enough, but sometimes just barely. The little bit of extra is nice to have just in case.The "kit" comes with a spoon and two gaskets (one for tilt-head and the other for bowl lift mixers). The spoon is a nice touch, but I didn't use it all that much. The gasket fit perfectly with my stand mixer. Most would advise not re-using gaskets when re-greasing so having a new one included is handy.You'll save money re-greasing your stand mixer yourself and re-greasing will prolong the life of the mixer. For the money, this food grade grease kit is a very good value. I'd recommend giving it a try.

I took my whole mixer apart to replace a missing gear that was completely worn out. Small pieces of the old gear were all over the inner casing so there was no way I could use it without replacing all of the lubricant. The hardest part of this ordeal was removing all the old grease. The container came with a man applicator that worked great. Seems like good quality. I have not noticed any leakage though there is a stronger smell than with the old grease. The size of the container was great for the price and I think I have enough left.
