I've been able to use these in various adjustments. The only complaint that I have is the suction cups need to be a little stronger

Unfortunately, these don't suction. They do float, but move due to the filter moving water

They do the job as advertised without the suction cup and stay in one place anyway. They keep floating food in one spot, so maintenance is just a snap when fish don’t eat everything. The smaller circle shaped feeders I found create too small of a feeding area and some fish get left out; just depends on what you’re feeding.

A lot of folks are using this to house floating plants --- I actually use it directly over my sponge filter in all of my shrimp tanks to ensure that my floating plants remain in place, as they are intended to be.The product will adjust to your water level, which is a great feature that prevents you from messing with it on a daily basis.I raise neocaridinas and they seem to ignore it entirely, with the exception of one which I saw last night hanging upside down on it. It's definitely safe for shrimp and fish alike, and it's a super affordable option to help keep your floating plants in check.
