My crapes are shipped in super strong boxes, carefully secured in their original containers, and never shipped bare root. Container trees can be planted at any time of the year, but crapes are especially tolerant of summer heat. They actually thrive in the heat. Depending on the variety chosen, your trees will arrive at your door about 6-12 inches tall. I am a school teacher and I grow hundreds of crape in my backyard. The town I live in, Waxahachie, is nicknamed the Crape Myrtle Capital of Texas. Shop your local nursery and see how much you are going to save!! The box came days before the actual delivery date and my little trees were just the cutest!!! Very well packages and very healthy looking. Size was as described and great instructions on transplanting were provided. So far, great value for the price. Can't wait to see these beauties grow!

Received my 6 pack of Arapaho crapes today. They were in a sturdy box and a lot of care was taken to saran wrap the plastic pots so that the soil didn't pour out during shipment. They are about 1 foot tall and dormant, so of course they look a little twiggy, but that's no big deal as I've had success in planting crape myrtles at this this stage. A little scratch at the base tells me they're alive because it's bright green underneath. I'm excited to get these planted & use them as a privacy screen from neighbors. Thank you!
