The hooks attached to these plugs lose their barbs after only hours - very low grade.

Cedar plugs are great for catching. But after trolling these for a few hours off the New England coast in summer the hooks were already starting to rust.These really need to be rigged with stainless steel hooks.

Nice for Tuna plugs. I have not caught a BFT in the Northern Ca waters due to being out of state during the best time, but hopefully I will get a chance to use them. The plugs are made well enough to bring in a 100 to 150 lber. Buy them and give them a try.

Good lures in a variety of colors that worked well for catching dorado and tuna in Mexico. Packaging them in their own case was an added bonus.

These plugs are quality! Look at the leader loop at the one on top of the pic compared to store bought plugs elsewhere on the lower item... enough said!! The rest of the plug is just as good a quality as you'll find anywhere. Will definitely buy again.

So I was a little skeptical as I have always done well with other trolling lures. 30 mins out of port and I was hooked up to a nice wahoo. That day we caught six mahi and one wahoo and four of those fish were caught on the cedar plug ( green and yellow). These plugs move so erratically they drive the fish to an intense strike. You can see the damage they did. They hit this lure so hard. I hope it holds up, but for the price more then willing to order again. Also, saw some things online about losing hook ups but didn't have that happen once ( maybe just good luck). I am sold and am a believer now. If you have never used them and are on the fence TRY THEM.

I bought these for my boyfriend that is a huge saltwater fisherman. He had looked at buying 2 at Bass Pro for the same price I bought 6 on here. He isn't big into fishing with lures but he loves them for trolling. They come in pouch with a spot for each one so they stay protected & you don't get the hooks stuck on anything else.
