  • Seal Kit: Since the IPR is located on the high pressure oil pump. The IPR Screen and Valve O-Rings are common failure points.The screen may become plugged with debris and restrict the flow of the high pressure oil system. O-Rings faulty will result in low oil pressure related symptoms as poor idle, stalling, and even a no-start condition. They are much less expensive to replace.

If it wasn’t such a pain in the butt, I would return this product and try to find a better one. It is impossible to remove the valve with this adapter. Your wrench will fall right out of the hole that is too big/too small for any ratchet. Absolute piece of garbage. The company that engineers and sells this should be ashamed of themselves.

Would be nice if they made a 1/4 " drive version but otherwise, works great.

The Batoneco IPR valve socket is made in PRC (china). The socket itself feels light compared to the matco socket. It fit the removed IPR sensor from a Powerstroke 6.0, so it appears to be an option for an inexpensive IPR socket. The seal kit is not OEM, so I would never use it. I only use OE (motorcraft) or better with any Ford 6.0 engine work, and the seal kit is an unknown quantity. The socket is usable.4 stars

Well this tool is a must, the job was a pain, not sure it could be done without this tool!
