I thought this might be a fun little project for the laser engraver and I was right. While these are fake leather (pleather if you will) they are very clear in the posting that this is an artificial leather instead of the bs claim of others as a "vegan leather" as I appreciate the non-muddy waters of openly using the phrase "artificial leather" as I consider this truth in advertising. The patches have the look and feel of a smooth leather and laser well, I am actually considering trying to sacrifice a couple to see if I can cut them to shape with the laser as well for something a tad more custom as opposed to just engraved. I don't have any embossing or leather stamping tools currently but I believe these would work well with such tools. I was able to iron on with minimal issue for a couple amusing work shirts for some friends (use iron on high heat and I utilized a piece of parchment paper just in case to prevent any potential scorching of the shirt fabric). At a cost of about 17 cents a piece it is something that is fully affordable for even a use once end product (like hats or shirts for a children's birthday party or family reunion). Definitely worth a shot if you are considering if it is worth it.

Perfect for laser engraving with an xTool S1 20w. They press on easily and seem to adhere quite well. I do not know how they would hold up when laundered.

I wanted to make new Christmas stockings for my family, which I wanted personalized. I had my daughter use her Crikut for the names which I put on the leather. I used rivets to adhere the leather tag to the stocking! There was enough in the package to test out different fonts and sizes!

Ordered a package that advertised a light and a dark brown leather combination… all patches were dark brown only. Also, no instructions for how to attach — can only assume it must be heat-attached.

Both the laser burning process and the adhesion process were very easy to learn. The laser, of course set to the correct settings of your machine, has deep dark burns. Creating clean lines and making your image detail as precise as you want it to be. There is little smell produced from the burn. A lot less than when burning wood products. The leather patch is ready to use almost immediately. You don’t really need a cooling down time. When you’re ready to attach them to your choice of fabric. Just follow the instructions and easy and quick your custom article of clothing is done. A high quality easy to use custom patch that fits on lmost any kind of clothe you want it to. The amount you get for the money you pay is really great value too. Leaves room to make mistakes and still have plenty to work with.

I have recently gotten into laser crafts, so naturally I had to test out some hat patches. These are such a beautiful color that I had to give them a try. They are the perfect color for light or dark colored hats. I have had no issue engraving them , in fact they engrave beautifully. The adhesive seems to work well thus far, but time will tell. Overall these are a nice quality patch.

The patches are nice quality and did good with my small daja laser. I like that they came with 2 colors.
