Heavy and hard to move around, steps are farther apart. if your short it might be tuff to climb

Buy thick wood lengths to place on the platform pieces - it makes it more sturdy to stand on.

One if the hooks weren't drilled correctly. It was drilled slightly off center. The hook would "seat" all the way down and lock in.I contacted seller and supplier. Gor the run around. Please take pictures crap. Which I did, send in multiple times then they stopped contacting me. All I wanted was a replacement hook. I thi k sending rhe entire ladder back for a hook replacement is very wasteful.

I use this product as stairs to my attic. I highly recommend getting the added hook attachment. works perfect for my needs and FAR beat out paying for attic stairs... (have a look at the cost on them!)
