one of the casters was assembled with the incorrect wheel brake mechanism . these are 4 inch casters and it appears that one was assemled with a brake for a larger diameter wheel therefore no working lock . I discovered this during installation , no turing back , I used a pry bar to " adjust " the brake. looks janky but I needed to get the job done . no provision for a single caster return because they are sold as a set of 4. This is an update to my review : The vendor was quick to offer a full refund for the order . I accepted their offer and was refunded the full amount . I did not ask for a refund . I have changed my review to 5 stars.

We’ll build and heavy duty. Grease fittings for the ball bearings. I made to carts to hold 2000 lbs and they will be used on June 1. Then I will finish my assessment

bought some wheels at the other box stores stating heavy duty they were total crap they literally blew apart. these wheels I bought on amazon were heavy duty and work like a charm, I put them on my wood cart, it's even easier to push...Work great.

I used these casters on a welding table. I wanted to be able to position the table next to a wall and be able to pull it out into the center of the shop. It was difficult to do with 4 swiveling casters so I wanted to have 2 fixed casters and 2 swivel casters to make it easier to move the table. The problem I encountered was that the fixed casters were 90 degrees from the proper orientation. The A- symmetrical hole pattern prevented the desired orientation of the fixed casters. I had to cut the pads off the table legs, turn them 90 degrees and weld them back on. I don't know why they didn't use a symmetrical bolt pattern!

The quality is good, but the small specialized wrench in one of the sets was missing. Fortunately, we bought more than one set this time, so it didn't cause us any real trouble.

These are flat wheels which means it is more difficult to get them to rotate when moving the object they’re on. Rounded wheels move much better.

These casters roll smoother than any caster I have used in a long time, with these plate caster it pushes and rolls so easy now and the polyurethane coating don't mess up my epoxy floor
