The door was the exact fit and came with all the correct hardware to install it. Easy installation and the water heater is supreme. Hot water less than 30 seconds and never ending as long as you have propane. We were blown away by the performance of the water heater.

Easy to install, please make sure to verify outlet sides on the unit coming out of your Rv. A trip to the hardware store for pex and fittings may be required. If the hot water output flow is too strong the water will not be able to reach max temperature. Easy fix is to adjust flow at the faucet or control output flow from the hot water output from the water heater itself if you have a shut off valve installed. Quality is good and water is endlessly hot. Great value for the money!!!

My old suburban 12 gallon tank was leaking from the combustion chamber. So I researched as best I could over a week and settled on the Rainen on demand hot water heater. It’s now been installed for about two months of continuous use. It’s doing great. I spent November and December in Ohio where it got down into the teens for several nights. I do use a heated hose in those cold temps but it still had no trouble making 124 degrees. Even at near freezing with the hose heater off. It showed 35 degree inlet and 124 outlet.I was careful to order the 18x18 door combo which saved me $79 and had to frame the opening down to fit tank itself. It very easy, I just placed a 2x4 on edge along the top and left sides. I used Kreg pocket holes to hold them in place. Installed heater, and it fits perfectly, and then installed the door kit. Made all of the connections inside and had hot water in 30 seconds. I absolutely love it but I do have a few “complaints”.I would like a handing option on the door so that it can be made to open toward the front of the trailer. The T&P valve leaks above 60 psi and I had read this before buying it. With a regulator inline it doesn’t leak but it also can’t make enough volume to run two devices. Without the regulator it does fine. I need to find a high volume regulator. The ramp up for hot water is longer than a conventional tank. I knew this going in but when I dry camp it will be an issue for water loss. I think I will rectify this with a reclamation system. So the pros far outweigh the cons and it was half the money of the suburban unit I had that only lasted 5 years.

Our factory suburban 6gallon began leaking due to failing welds. We needed to replace it.This heater came really well packed, double boxed with foam protection. It came with instructions and all the wiring needed.Installation was very easy and straightforward for the average DIYer. Fit the cut out for the heater perfectly without any modifications. The water heater is amazing. Heats up to temp within 7-10 seconds and the temperature stays consistent even during extended use. The temperature is easily controlled by the control head it’s extremely quite noise level. It even conveniently tells you how much water you’re using. I believe it is a great product and offers a lot of value for the money. It also seems to be pretty fuel efficient. I would definitely recommend. Endless hot showers are the best!

I’ve been using the 65,000 BTU RV Tankless Water Heater for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The installation was straightforward, and the unit is fully compatible with my RV setup. The on-demand hot water feature is a game-changer, providing instant hot water whenever needed, without the long wait times associated with traditional water heaters. One of the standout features is its high-altitude capability. I often travel to mountainous areas, and this heater performs flawlessly, even in those challenging conditions. The 12V power system is also incredibly efficient, making it perfect for off-grid adventures. The multi-function controller is user-friendly, allowing for easy temperature adjustments and monitoring. I also appreciate the included white door, which seamlessly blends with my RV’s exterior.Overall, this water heater is a must-have for any RV owner. It’s reliable, efficient, and offers an endless supply of hot water. Highly recommended!

I recently replaced my 10gal water heater with this Renein on demand water heater in my Class A and I have to say it’s pretty cool. I have an on demand water heater at home so this is essentially an extension of that experience. Install was straight forward for the most part.4 wires , ( 2 for 12 vdc and 2 blue for controller)Hot /cold water linesand a gas line . Thats it. If your current water heater is bigger than the aprox 13” this unit is, you will have to make a cover plate as well as center it in your RV.We had a small issue with controller not coming on but seller was very responsive and helped us figure out problem quickly.Endless hot water folks. Gotta love it!
