This is very nice and sssssturdy. The flashlight attachment is great. I have tons of ssssssnakes in my yard and none are poisonous and I'm not sssssscared of them but sssssometimes they come into my outdoor living area or my kitchen and I have a hard time getting close enough to grab them without it being a chase. This easily allows me to get them from a distance without ssssscaring them and then I can relocate them. I like the ssssnakes, they eat rodents and bugs and they are enjoyable to watch along with the enjoyment of the occasion ssssstartle when one ssssslithers outta the weeds. My only complaint is the lock. This has a one position lock on the handle but it locks with the jaws completely closed. Sssssso if you have a decent sssssize ssssssnake you can't lock the jaws or face decapitation which I don't want. It sssshould have a ratcheting type lock mechanism. Sssso if carrying the ssssnakessss with locked jaws is deal breaker for you this is not the one. Other than that this sssseems really nice
