I had already loved my new Acorn house numbers, so I tried one set of shutter dogs, and they're even better than expected. Acorn design is just a cut above other stuff out there, especially for an interesting, quasi-primitive but still refined Colonial look. These install with a drill, socket wrench, and screwdriver very easily, and they're so well balanced they swivel back into upright position on their own. I actually hadn't anticipated that. They look terrific on our new board and batten shutters.
