This is an unassembled, rifle/firearm cabinet. It is NOT a fireproof safe. The metal is therefore thin. Some reviews mentions that the predrilled holes don't line up. The one I had lined up. The problem with the holes was more their location. They are close to the walls and getting to the screw is difficult especially if you got big hands. There is also an issue during the assembly of the 4 vertical plates, the product now becames a squarish tube/tunnel where there is a pair of screws that are halfwaly into this tube. You can have long arms but you have to feel for the predrilled hole. It's a good thing I have a tunnel rat brother who was thin enough to squeeze into the box and screw them in for me. The bottom plate was also dimensionally bigger than the space it was to occupy. I had to modify the plate and cutting some edges to make it fit. I have an old Snap safe modular cabinet that was easier to assemble. I was unable to find it anymore.

It wasn't difficult to put together after I figured out the orientation of the pieces. I addictions are not very detailed. If you have a little mechanical aptitude shouldn't be a big deal. You can't use the shelf if you have rifles and shotguns. They are just too long by a couple inches. I may drill my own holes and install the shelf higher. You will need to anchor this to a wall or floor. The bottom is secured by screws, some reviews say its just pushed into place. No, it is secure. The operation is great. It will do the job keeping little ones away from guns.

Love the safe! Forgot to read the fine print. You have to assemble it yourself! That took some doing.Finally figured it out.

Got it to keep guns out of the hands of my grandkids. It does that perfectly. Easy to assemble and easy to open.

No one should buy this as a legitimate way to protect their firearms. You can 100% break this with a garbage-tier pick axe. The reason you are buying this is for legal compliance, child safety and general firearm storage. If you want something to actually protect, get a Vaultek or an actual DUMMY THICC safe, but this? No.

First off you get what you pay for. The material is extremely thin and cheap. The screws are very small and offer no security. The "press drilled" holes do not line up. The directions are not extremely helpful. The tin box is much smaller than the pictures imply.

A little difficult to put together but nice safe. Not sure it would hold up in a fire and water wound definitely get in but formthe price it's useful to keep people out. Fingerprint works well too.

Wanted something to put some of my guns away. Great shipping arrived faster than expected. But safe is not suitable for long barrels. Per picture you would think but it’s misleading. Not happy at all. Not only did it took me sometime to assembled because instructions are little but then after all that 2 of my guns don’t fit 🤦🏻♂️ Wow.
