The shift interlock solenoid does not work right out of the box. I own a mechanic shop, bought this for our shop truck to save some cash and regret it. Absolutely junk quality and the solenoid does nothing. Even with the solenoid unplugged and no key in the ignition, you can wiggle it out of park. Plug everything in, key to run and brake pedal pressed, will not release and have to wiggle it out the same way. Junk, do not buy. Doesn't work at all.
