I installed one of these in the ignition system for my 1953 Willys 4x4 Jeep wagon due to a problem with the vehicle not shutting off after starting and the ignition switch was placed in the off position. Works great.

Works great. Used this on my Exciter wire on a 3 wire gm alternator. I soldered the ends to my Exciter wire before the alternator covered with heat shrink and it works great. It got hot At first turned out to be a loose battery cable so watch out for that if you plan to use for the same application
