This anode trim tab was a perfect replacement for my 2005 Yamaha F115 four stroke outboard. It’s a good idea to replace the external anodes every few years, or even more often if using regularly in saltwater. Not only to protect your outboard metal from corrosion, but also to prevent mounting bolts from deteriorating and getting stuck. I was pleased to see the new trim tab was a perfect match for the original and was a good fit. The mounting threads matched as well and I was able to use the original bolt to install. There is enough range of positioning to make alignment adjustments if needed. I would say there is no difference in quality from OEM, only a better price. Definitely recommend to save some money compared to the name brand.
