This would be ok for working on your own bike assuming your bike has a carbon shell and you do regular maintenance on your bearings. But because this tool is made to be used universally around bottom brackets of different makes and models, people will think it will be the do-all. Don’t plan on using this on stuck bearings or lock rings with its butter knife thin 7” long handle. That’s a short sharp handle to try and break free 40-60nm worth of stuck threads. Not imposssible but why struggle doing maintenance? Tools should be comfortable to hold. Tools are supposed to make the job easier. My advice? Beef up the handle with a few more dollars worth of aluminum or just buy the more appropriate tool. I’d actually prefer it be 6 separate tools, but what do I know. It does look cool and it would look real nice hanging on the peg wall. Imagine 6 of them hangin up!! But with longer beefier handles, of course.

Just the tool we needed to change out our bottom bracket. Really well made and durable.

I had to remove a bracket and install a new one, both different cup size. Then I helped someone clean up and freeze their BB, that one I didn’t even know what size it was. This wrench got them all done. Way cheaper than buying separate ones. Quality is good. For serious bike work, this is so versatile. Only reason you can’t buy this tool in ‘brand name’ is because it goes against their business model.

Seems sturdy enough. Hopefully it covers enough styles that i do not need to purchase another type.

This is effective at removing and reinstalling bottom brackets and cranksIt appears that after one usage the teeth that engage when removing a standard road racing bicycle bottom bracket have pretty short engagement and are not made of the hardest of metals, so I will have to baby this tool and/or use it sparingly. However, it *does* work, it did the job.

This is a do it all tool as long as the dang bike industry does change bottom bracket standards much more.
