I have a HUGE gripe - a few of these did arrive with small reddish patches of residue. (Think tetra flakes) but they easily washed off.Still 5 stars for the strength and construction, how easy they are to clean, and how perfectly fine the mesh is. I couldn’t be THAT mad at the residue because it washed off easily, and I wash my strainers before using - as a general rule.

I like these for making jelly. They worked very well only thing was the draw strings are not the best but did the job. The seams of the bag are nice because it is easy to clean after use.
