Used to form a small metal pipe reducing size taper split die. That required the use of four taper reamers in a 1 1/2 inch (3.8 cm) long bore. Grew tired of using hand drive switched to cordless drill drive. This was in heat softened spring steel, the taper reamers performed flawlessly! Use lots of cutting fluid, clean the shavings often especially using the smallest taper reamer.
