works great, had this for a while and always keeps feeder working. only problem is the squirls use the wiring to reach the corn. i'll figure something to stop them .... or use them for target practice

Great item. Bought 2 and put them on different feeders. I haven’t had to charge or replace a dead battery since.

Photo of unit installed to feeder has a long metal prtective covering. The wires on the unit are plenty long to put up to a tree or anywhere on a feeder. The actual metal shield is only 2 foot long, it was barely long enough to properly mount on the feeder. The solar panel works as indicated.

It did not take any time at all to install the solar panel that was placed over our deer feeder. The mounting bracket that is supplied may be attached to the feeder with just a few screws to ensure its solid attachment. There is sufficient cable length to allow the panel to be positioned in direct sunlight, where it will be able to absorb the maximum amount of rays. The electricity that it provides is sufficient to keep the 12V battery that our feeder uses fully charged, even on days when there is more cloud cover. It is no longer necessary for me to be concerned about the battery dying since our deer feeder is now able to operate continuously as long as the sun is shining. There will be no more inconvenient trips to change the batteries in your automobile every couple of weeks!

Arrived on time. Clean look, sturdy product, 6’ wire length. Only been using for couple weeks . Seems to work well . Been checking g battery charger weekly. Been keeping g battery at full charge. Very impressed.
